Privacy Policy

Account information: Your name, email address, and password. Your password is cryptographically hashed before storage — we never store it in plaintext and cannot read it.

Farm data: Everything you enter into AgAlmanac — field names, GPS coordinates, crop types, yield records, financial records (input costs, harvest sales, forward contracts), irrigation logs, water rights records, equipment records, labor entries, rainfall logs, inventory levels, land lease details, and grazing records.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and timestamps. We use this exclusively for product improvement — understanding which features are valuable and which need work.

Photos: Damage photos you upload for insurance claim documentation are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We extract and lock in EXIF metadata (date, time, GPS coordinates) for tamper-evident record-keeping.

We do not sell your data. Ever. To anyone. This is not negotiable.

We do not use your farm data to train AI models. Your field data, financial records, and crop information are yours alone. They are never fed into machine learning training sets.

We do not share your data with third parties except as specifically described in Section 4 below.

We do not run ads or sell your information to advertisers. AgAlmanac is funded by subscriptions, not by selling your attention or your data.

We use your data to:

• Provide the AgAlmanac service — displaying your farm records, calculating break-even prices, generating reports, and powering features you use
• Send alerts and notifications you configure (price alerts, frost warnings, lease renewal reminders, etc.)
• Improve the product based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns — for example, understanding which report formats are most popular so we can prioritize improvements
• Comply with legal obligations if required by law

You and team members you explicitly invite to your farm through the AgAlmanac team access system.

RaT Studios LLC staff — limited access for customer support purposes only, and only when you contact us for help.

Supabase — our database provider, hosting your data on AWS infrastructure in the us-west-2 region. Supabase is bound by their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

Stripe — processes subscription payments only. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe receives only the information necessary to process your payment.

No one else. We do not sell, rent, or provide access to your data to any other third party.

Row-level security is enforced on every database table. This means your data is cryptographically isolated from other users at the database level — not just in the application code.

Encryption at rest and in transit. All data is encrypted on disk and all connections use TLS 1.3.

Infrastructure. Our database is hosted on Supabase, which runs on AWS with SOC 2 compliant infrastructure.

Export your data: Email support@agalmanac.app and we will send you a complete export of all your data within 30 days.

Delete your account: Go to Settings → Delete Account, or email us. We will permanently purge all of your data within 30 days of your request.

Correct your data: You can edit any of your farm data at any time directly in the app.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Since we do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of — but you retain the right.

We use a single session cookie for authentication — it keeps you logged in. That is it. We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or advertising cookies of any kind.

AgAlmanac is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@agalmanac.app and we will promptly delete it.

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. We will also update the effective date at the top of this page.
